As a dedicated fan of the Haikyuu manga, I’ve always longed to witness a real-life Japanese volleyball match. Attending the Japan Volleyball Panasonic Energy Cup Asia Tour in Thailand on September 15th was a dream come true. The opportunity to experience the passion and excitement of a true Japanese volleyball match, hoping to catch a glimpse of those iconic Haikyuu moments, was simply irresistible.
I was thrilled to secure a ticket that brought me incredibly close to the volleyball court. My anticipation grew as I prepared for the match, researching the teams and buying merchandise from both Suntory Sunbirds Osaka and Osaka Bluteon. The excitement was palpable as I entered the stadium, eager to immerse myself in the vibrant atmosphere.

The first match was a thrilling Thai showdown between แคทเดวิล แคทเดวิล and ไดมอนด์ ฟู้ด. As a first-time volleyball spectator, I was amazed by the skill and athleticism of the players. The long deuce, extending to over 30 points, showcased the intense competition and determination of both teams.
Around 16:00, I had the privilege of witnessing both Japanese teams practice for their upcoming match. And then, it happened. I finally met Taishi Onodera-kun, one of my favorite players, along with other renowned athletes. It was a surreal moment that I still find hard to believe. Being so close to these talented players was like living in a dream.

I quickly learned the proper clapping and cheering techniques for each style of win. The energetic atmosphere, fueled by the loud music, created an exhilarating experience for both the players and the audience. While the music might have been a bit too loud for some, it undoubtedly contributed to the overall excitement and enthusiasm of the crowd.
Attending the Japan Volleyball Panasonic Energy Cup Asia Tour in Thailand was an unforgettable experience. Witnessing the incredible skill and passion of the players, meeting my favorite athletes, and immersing myself in the vibrant atmosphere made every moment truly special. I hope to have the opportunity to attend more volleyball events in the future and continue supporting the sport that has brought me so much joy.
