Designing the Nintendo Switch X Pro 5G was an exciting project. My goal was to create a next-level handheld console that blends advanced technology with a user-friendly design. Here’s how I made it happen:

Key Features
Dynamic AMOLED QHD+ Screen with 180Hz Refresh Rate
- I picked a Dynamic AMOLED screen for its bright colors and sharp details. The 180Hz refresh rate makes gameplay super smooth, which is perfect for fast-paced and competitive games.
5G Connectivity for Online Play
- Adding 5G means players can enjoy lag-free online gaming and quick downloads, making it ideal for modern gaming.
Tri-Camera Setup
- This feature is perfect for gamers who like streaming or creating content. The cameras let you record in 8K at 120fps or stream in 2K with Dolby Vision for amazing quality.
Powerful Processor
- I imagined using a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 4 processor for fast performance. This makes 4K gameplay and multitasking smooth and easy.
TouchPad Pro
- I included this for more precise controls while keeping the design portable and simple to use.
Strong Build with Corning® Gorilla® Armor
- To keep it durable, I added Corning® Gorilla® Armor, so it’s ready for travel or gaming at home.

Design Approach
I wanted the design to look modern and fun while keeping it simple. The bold layout highlights important features, and the vibrant screen shows off the fun of gaming.
Tools I Used
I used Photoshop and Illustrator for creating the visuals and layout. For 3D modeling and animations, I used Spline3D, which helped bring the design to life with smooth movements and interactive effects.
Challenges and Solutions
The hardest part was fitting so many advanced features into a simple design. I kept the layout clean and organized so everything felt balanced. Each feature was chosen carefully to make the device fun and easy to use while staying true to Nintendo’s style.
